Teen Cooking Week 2 Online

Do you want to learn how to make healthy vegetarian dishes?  

Join us for a series of sustainable, nutritious, plant based cooking with seasonal produce.  Each session will include 1 savory recipe and 1 dessert. The recipes are easy to put together and can be duplicated for Holiday get-togethers.  Shopping lists will be provided prior to the event so you can cook along with us!   Registration is required.

Recipe 1: Stuffed Mushrooms:
Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of 8 Oz white mushrooms
  • 2 bread slices
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Parmesan Cheese ½ cup
  • Garlic powder & Herbs of choice
Recipe 2: Chocolate Mug Cake:

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder( 2 pinches)
  • Baking soda 1 pinch
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • salt half a pinch
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon mini chocolate chips(optional)
Tools required:

  • Chopping board 
  • Butter knife 
  • Mixing spoons
  • Coffee Mug or Ramekin dish
  • Mixing Bowls 2 medium size
  • Microwave
  • Oven
  • Baking tray
  • Oven Mitten
  • Measuring cups & spoons
  • Paper towel
