Teen Cooking Week 3 Online

Do you want to learn how to make healthy vegetarian dishes?  

Join us for a series of sustainable, nutritious, plant based cooking with seasonal produce.  Each session will include 1 savory recipe and 1 dessert. The recipes are easy to put together and can be duplicated for Holiday get-togethers.  Shopping lists will be provided prior to the event so you can cook along with us!   Registration is required. 

 Recipe 1: Baked Tofu Finger Fries:

 

             

   

Ingredients

 

1 (12 to 14 ounce) package extra firm tofu

2 tablespoons olive oil + cooking spray

4 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp milk

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ tsp salt and ½ tsp fresh ground black pepper

½ cup of bread crumbs, Oil spray


 

 Recipe 1: Chocolate Mousse

                      

                                      

Prep Time 5 min

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tbsp Sugar

Tools Required:

 

Mixing bowls 3 medium size, whisk, spoons, measuring cups & measuring spoons, baking sheet, butter knife.
