Do you want to learn how to make healthy vegetarian dishes?
Join us for a series of sustainable, nutritious, plant based cooking with seasonal produce. Each session will include 1 savory recipe and 1 dessert. The recipes are easy to put together and can be duplicated for Holiday get-togethers. Shopping lists will be provided prior to the event so you can cook along with us! Registration is required.

Recipe 1: Fiesta Casserole:
Serves 4: Prep time 20 min. Bake time 30 min

Hash Brown Patties 8-12 (depending on baking dish size need to make 2 layers in the baking dish)

1 cup pasta ( boiled in salted water and drained)

1 can cream of mushroom soup

2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups assorted vegetables of choice ( colorful peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, corn, beans, carrots) frozen mixed vegetables works great

2 tbsp chopped onion.

1 tbsp Olive oil or melted butter

1 tsp thyme fresh or ½ tsp dried

1 tsp salt
-
1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder
Recipe 2: Dessert- Chocolate Ganache Tart
Prep time 15 min Setting time 1-2 hour

4 Graham Crackers
-
½ cup dark chocolate chips
-
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
-
1 and ½ tbsp unsalted butter room temperature
Tools required:
Oven, Microwave,spoons,fork, cutting board, mixing bowl, spatula. colander, baking dish (about 9 inch size square preferred )
Ziplock bag, Rolling pin to crush.Coffee mug. 3-4 Mini Tart mold or Ramekins or dessert bowls or silicone cupcake molds.
